Peirot was pleased to take part in SENAR’s Leadership event, where we had the opportunity to share some of our experience in agriculture; and, most importantly, the values that continue to guide the way we grow.
We were cordially invited by SENAR due to our leadership practices and strong employee commitment. Gleise de Melo, Director of Sustainability, spoke about the importance of people and recognizing the power of producers working together.
Events like this create an important space for producers, professionals and agricultural leaders to exchange ideas and learn from one another. For Peirot, it was also an opportunity to reinforce two beliefs that are central to our approach to farming.

Another important message we shared during the SENAR event is that agriculture should not be divided between large and small producers.
Every farm has its own scale, resources and challenges, but we are all part of the same agricultural ecosystem. Large producers, small family farms, suppliers, researchers, agricultural professionals and local communities all contribute to a much larger chain.
We share a common purpose: producing food and agricultural products, creating economic opportunity and supporting the development of the regions where we operate.
When knowledge, experience and opportunity are shared across that chain, agriculture becomes stronger.
